Why hire a professional makeup artist?

It’s so important to hire a professional makeup artist because camera ready makeup is different than everyday makeup. A professional will take into account your skin tone, eye color, hair color, skin type, dress color, and the makeup routine you’re using day to day. Think about it this way: people don’t always see your $300 wedding shoes, but they will ALWAYS see your face! Your face will be in every single photo. You won’t have to allocate time for your makeup routine, or the extra 20 minutes it takes for you to put on fake lashes. And, it’s nice to sit back and get pampered by an expert!

do you offer airbrush makeup?

Yes! Airbrush is an incredibly lightweight alternative to traditional foundation. If you’re weary of the traditional foundation being too much, airbrush is for you. When it comes to looks, airbrush and traditional foundation can’t be told apart. Airbrush is an add-on alternative for $20/service.

do you travel outside of Virginia Beach?

Absolutely! All wedding day services are performed on site. There is a travel fee if traveling 40 miles round trip outside of Virginia Beach. After 40 miles, it is $1/mile round trip. If travel requires a flight, I do require compensation for flight and two nights stay in a nearby hotel.

when is a good time to schedule my bridal trial?

It’s always a good time to schedule your bridal trial. I especially love to book trials when you’ve got something going on- engagement shoot, bridal shower, boudoir shoot, date night, etc. It’s especially helpful to see how the makeup is portrayed through photos before your wedding day. I recommend scheduling the trial 3-6 months before the wedding day.
